  • 1 trip through the course at night! (2-3 hours)

Course Highlights

  • Trip through Treetop Zoofari at night!
  • 44 challenges including 16 zip lines
  • 2-3 hour trip through the course
  • Once up the first ladder, you truly travel tree-to-tree until you touch down to the ground on the final zip
  • Participants travel over 3,000′ on zip lines alone (16 total)
  • 2 zip lines travel over the lake (one over 600′ long)
  • Zip by animals such as Tapirs, Toucans, Kangaroos, Monkeys, Orangutans, Emus, and Siamangs
  • At several points along the “Zoofari,” one can choose between two short diversion routes consisting of; easier or harder challenges

Course Restrictions

  • 54″ + tall
  • 10 years+
  • 250lb max weight limit
  • Chaperone may be required (see Chaperone rules below)

  • Fridays only (special requests available for groups of 1o+)

Tip!

  • Treetop Zoofari’s Nocturnal Nights is by reservation ONLY
  • Previous participation in the Treetop Zoofari Course during the day is recommended but not required.
  • All participants must complete a waiver
  • All those under 18 years old must have their waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian
  • Fill out your waiver in advance and bring it with you to expedite your check-in process

Nocturnal Nights Chaperone Rules

  • Participating Chaperone required for ages 10-15
    • Chaperone is anyone ages 18+
    • Chaperone/Child ratio is 1:5
    • $65 per person
    • Ages 16-17 must have a Chaperone on the premise of Treetop Zoofari or the Metro Richmond Zoo at all times while a course

What to wear

  • Closed-toe athletic footwear required (No sandals, flip-flops, crocs, slippers, etc.)
  • Comfortable/athletic clothing
  • Camera with security straps welcome
  • Small, lightweight bags or fanny packs welcome
  • Long hair must be pulled back
  • Bug repellent is recommended
